MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. The current background x-ray flux is B1.4. The largest event since the last message was a B6.7 at 03/18/23:18 UT produced by target region NOAA 2524. 2524 has decayed somewhat in sunspot area and sunspot count. B-class events possible with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2524 on March 19 at 12:45 UT is: N15E43 (Solar X = -637", Solar Y = 332")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
