MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is extremely low. The background x-ray flux is currently flat at the A5.2 level. The tiny EFR (S17E40) has decayed. The visible solar disk is now spotless again. The target plage is stable and quiescent. No noteworthy solar flare events expected anytime soon.
The position of the target on July 01 at 13:45 UT is: N16E28 (Solar X = -356", Solar Y = 218")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
