NOAA 12573 retains its beta configuration but appears to have ceased undergoing development. The trailing spot is exhibiting a rotational behavior which could lead to further intermediate level activity over the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12573 on 9-Aug-2016 at 14:31 UT is: S01E65, (-861", -60") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
