Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. A new region has rotated over the North East limb since the last message and was the source of multiple B-class events and two C1.1 flares. This region appears to have a beta magnetic class, with fairly extended leading and trailing plage field regions. More B-class activity is expected in the following 24-hour period, with a chance for another low C-class flare.
The approximate position of this region on 15-Aug-2016 at 22:00 UT is:
N08E62, ( -828", 79" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
