MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2585 was the source of a few B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B6.6 at 09/07/10:40 UT. 2585 has increased its magnetic complexity developing a beta-gamma configuration within its E-type sunspot group. An opposite leading polarity sunspot has emerged adjacent to the large trailing polarity umbra and a few trailing polarity pores have emerged near the large leading polarity umbra. B-class events probable with the chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2585 on September 07 at 09:45 UT is: N08W14 (Solar X = 229", Solar Y = 016")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
