Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 1 Sep 2016 00:08:24 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. Yesterday's target has rotated further onto the visible disk, appearing to exhibit a beta/D-type sunspot group classification. The unnumbered region has continued to produce C-class events, including a C2.2 flare on 31-Aug-2016 at 20:10 UT - the largest flare since the last message. Further C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period. The approximate position of this region on 31-Aug-2016 at 23:00 UT is: N08E72, ( -897", 95" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
