Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2597 was again the source of several B-class events and a C1.0 event at 09/27/07:48 UT. 2597 has decayed somewhat within its intermediate portion but increased its penumbral area in the main leading and trailing sunspots. B-class events probable with another C-class event possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2597 on September 27 at 10:30 UT is: S14W46 (Solar X = 669", Solar Y = -307")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
