Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 9 Feb 2017 12:30:26 -0700 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity increased slightly in the past 24 hours. A new emerged region (unnumbered yet, close to yesterday's target NOAA 12634) produced numerous B- and C-class flares, the largest being a C1.3 at 03:20 UT today. This region will be today's target. It is showing mixed polarities. Further low-level events are expected in the next 24 hours. The approximate position of the target on February 9 at 14:30 UT is: N13E20 (-350", 310") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
