Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The largest event since the last message was a C7.7 at 15:26 UT on September 2 produced by the northwestern limb region NOAA 12672 (N04W90). This flare was associated with a non-Earth-directed CME. The target region NOAA 12674 produced a B8.5 as well as a C1.0 flares in the past 24 hours. 12674 retains its beta-gamma/F-type magnetic classification, increasing in sunspot area (now 810 uh) and number of spots. Further high B- and low C-class flares are expected with a chance of an isolated high C-class event.
The position of NOAA 12674 on September 3 at 07:30 UT is:
N14E21 (-332", 120")
