Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has been at a high-to-moderate level. The largest event since the last message was an M5.4 at 03/23/13:51 UT from the target region NOAA 13615. 13615 also produced more than ten low M-class flares. It was designated as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type configuration, with the area being 730 millionths of the solar disk. Further M-class flares are expected with a good chance of an X-class flare in the next 24 or 48 hours. The position of NOAA 13615 on March 24 at 12:30 UT is: S13W08 (131", -104") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
