Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at an intermediate level. NOAA 13615 produced several flares since the last message, the largest being an M7.0 at 06:16 UT today. NOAA 13615 continues to show signs of significant flux and dynamic sunspot behaviour as it begins its transit of the southwest limb. The Major Flare Watch will continue with NOAA 13615 as the target region. Further C- and M-class activity is expected, with a chance of an additional isolated >M5 flare in the next 24-48 hours. The position of NOAA 13615 on 28-Mar-2024 at 12:30 UT is: S13W62, (828",-163") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
