Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at a low level since the last message. Several C-class flares were produced, the largest being a C4.0 from NOAA 13590 at 01:21 UT today. NOAA 13590 still shows significant flux as it progresses over the northwest limb. NOAA 13590 will remain the target region for the next 24 hours while it continues to transit the solar limb. Further C-class activity is expected. The position of NOAA 13590 on 1-Mar-2024 at 12:30 UT is: N18W72, (876",332") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
