Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has continued at a very low level since the last message. Yesterday’s target NOAA 13625 has not produced any further activity. In contrast, a new region that is currently rotating into view over the northeast limb produced three >B5 flares, with the largest one being a B7.7 at 03:10 UT today. The target shall switch to this new limb region from NOAA 13625. Additional B-class activities are expected, with low C-class flares likely in the following 24 hours. The approximate position of the target on 3-Apr-2024 at 11:30 UT is: N10E88 (-925", 175") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Qiao Li (Purple Mountain Observatory) |
