Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has continued to increase. NOAA 13629 produced numerous low-C flares before it completely rotated over the west limb, with the largest being a C4.0 flare at 11:39 UT on 10-Apr-2024. The target region NOAA 13634 has shown signs of shearing and additional flux emergence and has been classified as a beta/B-type magnetic configuration, with a high and increasing current helicity. 13634 was also a source of six low-C flares. NOAA 13635 (N19E41, beta/B-type) to the west of 13634 and an unnumbered region (S15E88) also produced several low-C flares. Further C-class activities are expected with a low-M flare likely in the next 24 hours.
