Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has been at the low C-level for the past 24 hours. The new region on the eastern limb has been designated NOAA 12166 but consists of mostly spotless plage, while NOAA 12157 has diminished in terms of complexity. NOAA 12158 shows emerging negative polarity flux along the leading edge of the positive leader spot and shall remain the target region. Further intermediate level activity expected.

The position of NOAA 12158 on 13-Sep-2014 at 15:35 UT is:

N16W35, ( 527", 166" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
