NOAA 2280 has developed a new small delta magnetic configuration within its northern intermediate portion of its D-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. The small delta that was located within the southern intermediate area yesterday has decayed away. C-class events probable with the chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2280 on February 07 at 16:35 UT is: S07W09 (Solar X = 151", Solar Y = -011") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
