Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 9 Aug 2015 09:47:59 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 2396 continues to display a large E-type sunspot group but has lost its magnetically complex beta-gamma configuration and only managed one C-class event since the last message (C4.2 at 08/09/07:52 UT). Another C-class event is probable with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2396 on August 09 at 14:35 UT is: S17W20 (Solar X = 310", Solar Y = -369") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
