Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 12506 continued to grow over the past 24 hours, increasing in spot area, number of spots, and in longitudinal extent. This region is now classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. 12506 produced 3 B-class flares since the last message, including the largest magnitude event of the period (a B4.5 on 28-Feb-2016 at 06:30 UT). Further B-class activity is expected over the following 24 hours, with a chance for an additional low C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12506 on 28-Feb-2016 at 21:30 UT is:
S06W04, ( 66", 20" )
