Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is low with the largest event in the previous 24 hours being a C1.6 at 01:09 UT on February 1 (seems from the east limb). Yesterday's target region NOAA 12488 has rotated over the west limb. There are currently three numbered active regions on the solar disk. NOAA 12489 and 12490 produced several B-class flares but seem to be stable. The newly numbered region NOAA 12491 appears to show some potential of low C-class activity in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 12491 on February 1 at 15:30 UT is:
N02E61 (Solar X = -852", Solar Y = 83")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
