Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Yesterday's target region has continued as an unnumbered plage field region and was the source of the only flare since the last message (a B1.1 on 28-Jul-2016 at 13:44 UT). However, over the past 24 hours a new region with spots has rotated over the North East limb and currently displays a beta magnetic classification. B-class flares are possible over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 28-Jul-2016 at 22:00 UT is:
N10E70, ( -874", 132" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
