Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Yesterday's target region located to the north of NOAA 12582 has been designated as NOAA 12583. This region is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group, the same as 12582. 12583 produced five B-class and three C-class flares since yesterday's email, including the largest magnitude flare in the past 24 hours (a C2.2 on 29-Aug-2016 at 03:34 UT). Further B-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for an additional low C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12583 on 29-Aug-2016 at 17:00 UT is:
N13W60, ( 806", 155" )
