Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. The target region has now been designated NOAA 12585 and was classified by NOAA as a beta/D-type sunspot group classification. This region grew somewhat since the beginning of the UT day and now appears to be a larger beta/E-type class. 12585 has continued to produce B-class activity, including a B6.1 on 1-Sep-2016 at 12:53 UT - the largest flare in the past 24 hours. C-class flares are likely over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12585 on 1-Sep-2016 at 22:00 UT is:
N08E59, ( -807", 70" )
