Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at intermediate levels. The region responsible for the recent increase in activity is still behind the southeastern limb and its magnetic configuration remains uncertain. The largest event since the last message was a partially-occulted M4.3 flare that began at 12:58 UT today. With activity set to continue and clear skies at the DST, the DST Service Mode Support campaign shall remain in effect. If supporting, please target the approaching active region on the southeast limb between 15-18 UT tomorrow (Friday).
The approximate position of the target region on 16-Oct-2014 at 15:00 UT is:
S13E88, ( -937", -219" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
