Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a high level. NOAA region 12192 emerged some new magnetic flux during the past 24 hours and still retains a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group designation. This region produced several more high C-class events since yesterday's email as well as an X2.0 flare on 26-Oct-2014 at 10:04 UT. The current MM#003 Major Flare Watch has been in operation now for a week and will continue for the next 24-48 hours because NOAA 12192 retains a strong potential for continued flaring above the M5 level.
The position of NOAA 12192 on 26-Oct-2014 at 16:30 UT is:
S12W43, ( 647", -260" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
