Subject: MM#003 Major Flare Watch" -

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA 12192 is still the largest, most complex and flare-productive active region on the visible disk. This region maintained a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group classification and grew slightly in sunspot area over the past 24 hours to 2740 uh. NOAA 12192 has decreased in flare frequency somewhat, but still produced 3 C-class events and an M4.0 flare on 24-Oct-2014 at 07:37 UT. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch will remain in effect for another 24 hours as NOAA 12192 retains the potential for a flare above the M5 level.
The position of NOAA 12192 on 24-Oct-2014 at 18:30 UT is:
S14W16, ( 262", -313" )
